Çağrışım :
The unconscious summoning of thoughts or feelings into consciousness. Events reminding one of another due to connections between them of which the person is largely unaware.
Çağrışım dağınıklığı :
A breakdown in the connection between thoughts and emotions, manifested by jumping from one topic to another.
Çekingen kişilik bozukluğu :
It is a personality disorder that begins in early adulthood and is characterised by shyness in social situations, feelings of inadequacy, and excessive sensitivity to negative evaluation (criticism, belittlement, etc.).
Çevresel konuşma :
A form of conversation that wanders off the main topic or touches on side issues that are only indirectly related to it. It is also known as tangential conversation.
Çocuğa bedensel sömürü :
It is the deliberate use of violence by a parent, carer or any other person responsible for the child, which results in physical injury.
Çocuğa cinsel sömürü (Çocuğun cinsel istismarı) :
It refers to the act of involving a child in any sexual act by a parent, carer or any other person responsible for the child, for the purpose of sexual gratification.
Çocuğa ruhsal sömürü :
It refers to the use of verbal or physical abuse by a parent, carer or any other person responsible for the child, in a manner that causes psychological harm to the child.
Çocuğu boşlama :
Behaviour on the part of a parent, carer or any other person responsible for the child, such as failing to meet the child’s basic needs appropriate to their age, failing to provide the necessary care and attention, failing to meet their psychological and emotional needs, or abandoning them.
Çoğul kişilik bozukluğu :
It is also known as dissociative identity disorder. It is a condition characterised by the presence of two or more distinct personality states.
Çözülme (Dissosiyasyon) :
A condition in which thoughts, feelings or memories that are distressing to the individual become detached from the events and experiences to which they are linked, and emerge as a behavioural pattern in their own right. It is one of the ego’s primitive defence mechanisms.
Çözülme (Dissosiyasyon) bozukluğu :
These are disorders in which, without any medical cause, the integrity of memory, identity, consciousness and environmental perception is disrupted—often due to psychological trauma—and the connection to the associated event is lost. In other words, dissociation arises as a mechanism to exclude or isolate the effects of the trauma. These include dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder), dissociative amnesia, dissociative fugue, depersonalisation and derealisation.
